Jean was born in Augsburg, Germany on Monday, April 9, 1956. Jean Marie Hawk, age 66, of Weiser, Idaho, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Jfrom injuries sustained in a single vehicle rollover accident on Highway 95 just South of Sunnyside Road Weiser. Arrangements are under the direction of Thomason Funeral Home. A reception will be held immediately following the graveside service at St. with interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Weiser, ID. Funeral mass will be celebrated at the church on Wednesday, August 17, at 2:00 pm. She is survived by her father, Charles “Ray” Hawk, sister Ramona Erickson & Kelly (Ann Phillips (TJ), Kelly Erickson, Jr., Ray Erickson (Amanda), and Rick Erickson (Karla) of Weiser, Idaho, brother David Hawk & Trudy (Stephanie Freeman (Tucker) and AJ Hawk soon to be married to Pierce Rehn) of Ontario, Oregon, brother Robert Hawk & Cat (Chris Hawk (Jennifer), Betty Ragan (Jason), David Hawk (Tiffany), and Paula Wixom (Derek) of Alvord, Texas, and Roger Hawk & Julia (Ashley Alibasic (Rasim) & Kelly Hawk) of Caldwell, Idaho, as well as many great nieces and nephews.Jean will be greatly missed and not easily forgotten.A rosary vigil is scheduled for Tuesday, August 16 at 7:00 pm at St. Jean was preceded in death by her mother Elizabeth Hawk. Some of her greatest achievements were earning her GED and quitting smoking 5 years ago. She was always kind and thoughtful at Christmas and Easter bringing poinsettias and Easter lilies for everyone to enjoy. She looked forward to playing bingo, family card and board games and was always very determined to give it her all. She loved spending time with family, raising and caring for her pets (Precious, Sandy, and Mischief), camping, planting and raising flowers, and watching NFL football games. Jean was baptized and confirmed in the Catholic Faith. She “retired” and returned to Weiser, Idaho in 2009. Peters Hospital in the Food Service Department.
